Student Life
Midland Bible Institute provides a holistic student life experience, offering on-campus boarding
with three meals daily. Students participate in spiritual activities, including thrice-weekly chapel
services, school devotions, and the Keswick convention. Community and recreational
opportunities abound with on-campus games, movie nights, bonfires, youth meetings, and
recreational trips. Additionally, students engage in mission trips across various parishes and
serve on the student council, fostering leadership and service.
Spiritual Life
Daily Chapel Services
Chapel services are central to MBI’s educational program, designed to inspire and motivate fellowship and spiritual growth. The chapel schedule brings the entire community together for worship. Small groups also connect students in a more meaningful way.
The MBI values are reflected in every student as they engage communities locally and wherever God leads them. Students are expected to arrive on time and properly attired for Chapel.
Local Church Involvement
Students are encouraged —really, expected — to join with a local church and serve alongside the leaders.
Morning Prayer
The MBI students meet every morning and pray for our past, current, and future students, as well as the needs of our school and country
Spiritual Focus
The first week of every month we have a week of prayer; this is intimate time with God.
During these special times of spiritual focus, we pray for our MBI family and intercede for others near and far. While some prayer days call for focused prayers or praying with a group, other days we focus on missions and our nation.
We do have spiritual emphasis week, this where a past student or a special speaker would come with a focus on a theme for that week, chapel would be held twice for each day.
Student Government
The Student Government Association works in conjunction with the administration of the College in directing student life and assists in various school-improvement projects.
