Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behavior. Psychology is a multifaceted discipline and includes many sub-fields of study such areas as human development, sports, health, clinical, social behavior and cognitive processes.
ABOUT COURSE
At Midland Bible Institute (MBI) the Psychology programme is crafted to offer students the opportunity for personal growth and to study the discipline from a Christian worldview. Psychology, true to its origin, (Greek “psyche”) is the study of the soul, and no worldview other than Christianity has truer insight into the spiritual realm.
Some courses include Basic skills in counseling, Developmental psychology, Human sexuality, Personality dynamics and Individual differences. The programme is a great way to learn more about yourself and other people, allow you to make a difference in people’s lives also open the door to a variety of careers.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Arts in Psychology 128 credit hours
- All students must register in person during the scheduled registration times. Registration fees and outstanding tuition balances must be paid before students are permitted to attend class
- Documentation including your transcripts, Five CXC CSEC, GCE, and City and Guilds level 3 or equivalent including English Language and Math certificate, reference, health form, two passport size pictures will need to be submitted to the admissions team.
